Hillary Enloe

Founder + Lead teacher

My name is Hillary Enloe, I am the founder and lead teacher at Fox Creek. My academic background is in Environmental Studies with a Master’s in Education. My personal journey as a teacher began traditionally in public schools, transitioning into a private school where I encountered less structure which proved effective with the students. While the last two years brought our education system to a standstill, my recognition of the issues within this system began 20+ years ago as a student.

A mentor professor opened my eyes to the importance of science as critical to our success as a human race and exposure to the outdoors as vital to true environmental understanding.

My pursuit of educational freedom while understanding the importance of cooperative learning and play, led me to open Fox Creek. Please join me in this endeavor, as we have no time to waste, as a family and as a community, our children need diverse educational opportunities.

Lindsey Boswell

Assistant Teacher

Lindsey grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and showed an early passion for education. After college,  she found herself on the education side of each company she worked for, eventually starting and running her own successful business.  As a wife and mother to three children, Lindsey enthusiastically left her career to become a full-time mother.

She wanted a slower pace for her family and more time for her children to be children. The wonder of the outdoors easily drew in her family and made the decision to homeschool an easy one. She loves discovering, researching, and digging deeper alongside the children at Fox Creek. As an assistant teacher, Lindsey is most passionate about all the forest has to teach us, guiding the children in character building, and social/emotional well-being.

Willa Campbell

Art specialist

Willa Campbell is our art specialist at Fox Creek, teaching on Thursdays. Her curriculum is Waldorf-inspired, nature-based and provides handwork practice.  She is an award-winning fiber artist, homeschool parent, and assistant at Blue Fox Forest Kindergarten. She holds a B.A. in Visual Arts from the University of Illinois- Springfield and displays work at the Columbia Art League.

Willa believes that the process, rather than the product, is the most important part of art education. Instead of requiring students to create a specific art piece, she focuses on a deep exploration of materials, methods, gestures, and forms.

Jordan Milne

Yoga Specialist and Forest Projects Assistant

Jordan’s journey with yoga began when she was a teen. A major motivator in her 18 years of teaching has been adapting yoga and bodywork to meet the needs of any and every individual. Her offerings have primarily focused on tending to over-looked populations. She has taught in numerous studios, public and private schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, camps, and homes in Northern California, New Mexico and Mid-Missouri.

In addition to facilitating yoga, Jordan is a lover of nature, beekeeping and gardening; a leader of the local Trail Sisters women’s hiking group; a mama of two girls; a freelance writer holding a degree in Journalism from MU.  Her offerings focus on wellness manifested via balancing the undeniably intertwined body, mind, and spirit.

“Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom.”
